While our main shop is located in Bristol, Virginia, our mobile detailers will travel about 50 miles to give the best in detailing to our customers. We go south to Gray, Kingsport and Johnson City, Tennessee, and north to Abingdon, Marion and Wytheville, Virginia.
One of the questions our mobile detailers get asked the most is, what services are available on the road? The easy answer is detailing for your car, motorcycle, boat, camper, RV or fleet. We are completely self contained, meaning, we have our own water source and all of the items necessary to clean your vehicle inside and out. As the customer, you don't need need to provide anything except your own relaxation. Additionally, this means that we are a great source for whole office or neighborhood details. We can do several cars all at once while you work or hang out by the pool. Paint correction, depending on the weather and location, can also be an easy addition. This means we can buff out light scratches and polish your paint to a mirror shine. We can also apply ceramic coating to your windshield for added safety while driving in the rain or to your interior to protect your fabric from... well, life.
Where it gets complicated is when the customer wants a full exterior ceramic coating or window tinting at the privacy of their own home. Before we can agree to one of these services, we need to know what environment we will be working in. Window film is a magnet for dust. In the shop, before we apply any window tint, we have to thoroughly clean your window and its weather stripping. We also have to make sure all of the doors and windows to the shop are closed and there is no fan movement to ensure that dust particles do not end up in your tint causing unsightly blemishes. Therefor, if we were to do this out in the field, in order to have the same ability to control the movement of dust around your film, we would need a very clean environment to work in. The same concept holds true for a ceramic coating. Before we put a coating on, your paint needs to be as perfect as you want it to be and as clean as we can get it. Once the coating goes on, any dirt that ends up in the coating itself or blemishes under the coating, will be there for the life of the product. Also, the ceramic we use on your paint is different than what we put on your windshield or interior. The exterior coating needs to cure out of sunlight and rain for at least a day. So, if you are one of the lucky ones that has a big, clean garage, then these services might be a possibility. But, if you are wanting a mobile service in a parking lot, we ask that you please utilize one of our detailing packages and bring your vehicle to us for a window tint or ceramic coating.
